Frequently asked questions
Gourmand perfumes are inspired by edible notes and accords, often featuring ingredients such as vanilla, caramel, chocolate, nuts and creamy woods. They are known for their warm, comforting character, but modern gourmands can be much more than simply sweet.
Start with the notes you naturally gravitate towards. Choose vanilla or caramel for something creamy and comforting, chocolate and nutty notes for something richer, or a fruity-floral gourmand if you prefer something lighter and brighter.
Absolutely. Gourmand describes the character of a fragrance rather than who should wear it. CRA-YON perfumes are created to be worn by anyone.
Vanilla, caramel, chocolate, coffee, nuts, tonka bean and other sweet or creamy notes are common, often balanced with woods, spices, fruits or florals.
Vanilla CEO – Choose Vanilla CEO if you love vanilla but want something with more depth than sweetness. Creamy vanilla meets warm amber and woods for a smooth, confident gourmand that feels polished rather than sugary.
Caramel Days – Choose Caramel Days if you’re drawn to soft, creamy sweetness. Caramel and vanilla create a warm, comforting gourmand with a deliciously smooth character that feels easy to wear and hard to resist.
Nutopia – Choose Nutopia if you want a gourmand that stands out. Peanut and dark chocolate create a rich, nutty contrast that feels indulgent, playful and unexpected – a gourmand for anyone looking beyond classic vanilla and caramel.
Ami Amie – Choose Ami Amie if you prefer your gourmands lighter, fruitier and more floral. Juicy raspberry and plum meet soft florals, vanilla and a touch of chocolate for a bright, playful gourmand with a warm, comforting finish.
Not at all. While sweetness is often part of the gourmand world, these fragrances can also be woody, spicy, fruity, floral or nutty. The contrast is often what makes a gourmand interesting. Think dark chocolate paired with woods, vanilla with amber, or juicy fruits softened by creamy notes.
