Love the smell!!

Having spent an unforeseen eye watering amount on fragrances over the years, I’m so thrilled to have found Art Life. I’ve always been a fan of fairly unisex-smelling fragrances, but without super deep musky smells that you often find in men’s fragrance. I’ve settled for Laboratories ‘Amber’, Creed, and Oud. Art Life seems to amalgamate part of what I like in all three of these scents into one bottle and it really is a winner. My only minor quibble is that I wish the smell lasted a little longer on my skin. But I will certainly be buying this for a long time to come :)

I’m falling in love with the gentle, crisp and lustruous notes in Art Life. There’s a softness and a lightness that I’m guessing is the combination of creamy figs, bright bergamot and grounding woody notes. Never overpowering, always interesting. Love!

It opens as a zesty fresh fig, but turns slightly more sweet over time. The fig note will become more noticeable after the initial burst of citrus fruits. It’s fresh but nonetheless is quite persistent (in a good way) and not cloying. The name of this fragrance is well fitted in my opinion, it’s a sparkly and joyful scent with a bit of sweetness; it really makes me feel happy and inspired when I smell it! To me this is what the Mediterranean smells like in a bottle (let’s say it is a fruity interpretation). I definitely see myself wearing this scent in Milan’s warm spring-summer climate. A must-smell for all fig scent lovers!
